Victoria Vistas

(1989-90)

Coached by former Canadian Captain Bruce Wilson the Vistas would play in Royal Atheletic Park. Unfortunately they would reach no greater heights than the semi finals in their second season. Notable players include the likes of Bob Bolitho, George Pakos, Shel Brodsgaard and Randy Ragan.

Vistas did better in the second year, placing second in the western division with 31 points (86ers had 1st place with 40). They would beat the Winnipeg Fury in the quarter finals 3-2 in penalties. They would lose to eventual winners Vancouver in the semis, 3-2 over two legs. Unfortunately it would be their last season.

That season Victoria's kits were made by Umbro, the designs remained the same as the previous season. Blue with waves for home, white for away.
