Montreal Supra
(1988-92)
Montreal played out of the Complexe Sportif Claude Robillard. They were owned by the Saputo family (who currently own Montreal Impact and Bologna). Montreals greatest achievement in the CSL was making the semi finals in 1992. They would field the likes of Tasso Koutsoukos, Marco Rizi, Iain Fraser, Pat Harrington, Nick DeSantis, Mauro Biello, Tom Kouzmanis and Alex Bunbury.
1988
Difficult inaugural season for Montreal who placed last in the table, fairing one point (24 points) behind Ottawa (25 points). They did not make the play offs.
Thanks to John Stellato, the original designer of the shirt, I was able to confirm the brand was Sportec Super (a sports store in Montreal). Home was white, away was blue with the same design. Sponsors on the chest were O'Keefes beer and Ultramar. With a convenience store on the sleeve.

1989
Montreal seems to have done worse in their second season winning only 3 games of 26. They placed in last place of the eastern division with 15 points and did not make the play offs.

1990
Montreal jumped up significantly in the standings, moving from last to 2nd place (out of 7) this season. They would meet eventual Finalists Hamilton in the quarter finals and would lose 4-0 over two legs.
This season their jersey was made by Umbro. Home jerseys were white with Okeefe sponsors on the chest, away jerseys were red with the same sponsor.
1991
Montreal placed middle of the table with 40 points, making the play offs. They played Hamilton in the quarter finals over two legs, which Hamilton won 4-3.
Umbro made the shirts that season. I do know that the colors were white shirts, red shorts for home and red shirts, white shorts for away. It was not unusual to wear a home jersey away or an away jersey at home. Sponsors on the away were Saputo (owners) and OKeefes beer.

1992
Montreal would place 4th out of 6 teams, playing Vancouver in the semi finals. 86ers would win 2-1. Montreal would cease operations after this season along with the league itself. Many players would however go on to play for the Montreal Impact.
Umbro Made the shirts that season, home was white, away was red. Saputo (they owners) and O'Keefe were the sponsors on the chest.
